Fall Happenings
This Fall is shaping up to be a busy one, so here is a little summary of events I’m involved in coming up over the next few weeks.
Opening Reception Thursday 9/4, 5-7 pm in Jeffersonville, VT
The Bryan Gallery in Jeffersonville is currently exhibiting its annual Land & Light & Water & Air juried show. I have two pieces in this show, as well as one in the “Visions in Blue” show in the gallery’s middle room. The public is invited to an opening reception for both shows on Thursday 9/4 from 5-7 pm - I will be there!
Next on the calendar will be another appearance at the Jericho Farmers’ Market at Mills Riverside Park Thursday 9/11, 3 - 6:30. I will have cards, prints, and stickers available under my red tent. I’ll also be there again on October 2nd.
On September 17th - 21st, the Bryan Gallery will be showing a collection of my work at the “Affordable Art Fair” in NYC. The Gallery will exhibit the work of five other New England artists in their booth. With over 400 artists represented, the event advertises something for every taste and wallet. If you’d like tickets, let me know!
And that very same week, I will have a collection of forest-themed paintings on display at the “Northeastern Old Growth Conference” in Ripton, VT. It’s joyful to have my work on display for natural scientists to take-in and feel a connection to my previous line of work as an ecologist.
On September 28th, head on over to Richmond, VT for the Richmond Art Crawl. This is always a really fun and well-attended event with so many talented Vermont artists and crafters represented. It’s a festival-style set-up with avenues of vendors and foodtrucks and activities for kids.
And then the weekend after that is the Vermont Fall Open Studio tour, where I will be a returning guest artist at the Emile Gruppe Gallery in Jericho, VT. I will be giving live painting demonstrations and will have my work on display.
Busy, busy! Hope to see new friends and old at some of these events!
