From the mountain summits to the valley bottoms, my vibrant Vermont landscape paintings will be on display at the Muse Gallery in Barre, VT. The show runs from March 7 - April 29. A reception will be held Saturday April 11th from 10 - 11:45 am. Please come say hello, have some snacks and take-in the paintings.

Located in the foyer of the Barre Opera House (6 N. Main St. Barre, VT), the Muse Gallery is open to the public Tuesday - Friday from 12 - 4:30 pm.

I’m offering three art classes in July 2026 designed to help you cultivate your creative interests. They each are three hours long on the first three Sundays in July. You can take all three classes as a series or just select the classes you are most interested in. The subjects covered in each class are complimentary to each other but not over lapping, so you will learn something new in each class.

I’ve been reflecting on an invited sermon I gave to the Mt. Mansfield Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in my town yesterday where I shared the story of my transition from river ecologist to artist and thoughts on the intersection of science, art and faith.

Gretchen will be a vendor at the Jericho Craft Fair on Saturday December 6th from 10am - 3 pm at the Jericho Community Center. You will find her original paintings, prints, cards and stickers for sale. The fair will feature the handmade creations of local people including Pottery, Jewelry, Woodworking, Textiles and more.

The Bryan Gallery’s annual “Gems” show is now on display, with an opening reception this Saturday 11/1 from 1-3 pm.
