8 X 10 original acrylic painting on canvas
The end of Nashville Road in Jericho, VT opens out onto a geologic feature called a kettle, where 10,000 years ago a giant block of ice got smashed into the earth by a glacier, leaving behind a depression in the landscape after it melted. Around here, we just call it “the Kettle”, and it’s the perfect spot to catch a sunset with unobstructed views of the western sky. On really clear days you can see the Adirondacks in the distance, but on this hazy summer day, the sun glowed red through a bank of clouds.
Ships framed with a natural wood floater frame in a generously padded box. If you are local to Vermont you may also opt for “pickup” upon checkout at the Emile Gruppe Gallery in Jericho, VT.
